Today, we’ve wrapped up the three-day lecture on Service Design Tools Basics.

Led by Polimi professors Valentina Auricchio and Marta Corubolo, this module gave students an in-depth understanding of the essential tools for the service design process.

Working in teams, students applied tools such as the Offering Map, Personas, Stakeholder Map, System Map, Storyboard and Service Blueprint to real-world market cases. This hands-on approach allowed them to explore how these tools fit seamlessly into the design process.

By the end of the module, students developed a strong grasp of the role and value of these tools in service design. They are now ready to select, adapt, and even create new tools tailored to specific projects and contexts.
