As the Design-Driven Innovation module with Claudio Dell’Era and Chiara Esposito comes to an end, students have explored how design can lead transformations, envision new competitive scenarios, and generate meaningful innovation.
Working in teams, they analyzed real-world case studies, dissecting the nature, values, and competitive landscape of different companies. Through this process, they challenged existing assumptions and proposed alternative visions of meaning, demonstrating how innovation is not just about new products, but about reshaping perceptions and experiences.
This journey reinforced that design-driven innovation starts with people—understanding what is meaningful to them, and how companies can strategically align with evolving societal and technological changes.
