Rapid Prototyping with Marc Fortuny
We are excited to announce the start of a new module on Rapid Prototyping! This three-day workshop, led by Marc Fortuny, is designed to provide participants with a hands-on approach to taking a project from an idea to pre-implementation using prototyping techniques.
Students will have an overview of existing prototyping techniques such as desktop walkthrough, experience prototyping, and role-playing, which are commonly used by in the service design community. They will learn how to identify the most suitable method or tool for a given situation and resources available, and experiment with these tools in class, evaluating and prioritizing the results of the prototyping iterations.
Throughout the three days, students will have the opportunity to work on the existing concepts they developed in their previous Pill – Concept Generation Techniques, and focus on its development and evolution by prototyping. They will gain knowledge on rapid prototyping methods and tools, learn how to create the most appropriate prototype, and understand what an iteration is and how to plan it. They will also be able to make conscious decisions during the prototyping process and make the service evolve through prototyping.
We also remind you that on Thursday there will be the second Masterclass of this edition, applications are still open!
