How to assess a business opportunity for a new service?

Today we moved to the business sphere of services with the lecture Service Economy and Business Planning held by Paolo Lombardi. In the next days we will understand exactly which is the role of services in the economy of today.
This module will provide an introductive understanding of business models in the Service Sector and the ability to draft a Business Plan including financial projections. The module will have a practical cut with theoretical discussions alternated with hands-on labs. Participants will form groups and work on a real project, of which they will design a Business Model and perform competitive landscape analysis. Financial assumptions will be discussed and projected in cashflow and income statements. They will finally produce a basic business plan in the form of an investor pitch.
During this three days lecture students will understand how to face business world and make their services competitive.
