Maria is a German-Argentinian strategic designer helping communities, governments, and organizations navigate complex transitions towards sustainable and equitable futures.

At Arup, she develops design-led strategies to address systemic challenges such as climate resilience, retrofitting, and the energy transition. Passionate about public innovation, social justice, and sustainability, she advocates for collaboration and collective action in shaping long-term change.

With expertise in system design and community engagement, Maria specialise in co-design, participatory foresight, and storytelling to ensure diverse voices—especially marginalised communities—help shape the places they live, work, and play.
