Cheering the graduation of the XI Edition of the Master: A New Generation of Changemakers
Last Friday marked an extraordinary milestone for the students of the XI Edition of the Specializing Master in Service Design at @polidesign – Politecnico di Milano. Students had the opportunity to present their graduation projects to the Exam Commission. After a year of dedication, perseverance, and transformative learning, we celebrated their achievements, their professional growth, and the promising future that lies ahead for them.
As the Board and Faculty have worked to pass on their learning and experience, the students – now alumni – have become pollinators of knowledge and service design practice. They have demonstrated exceptional commitment to exploring a wide spectrum of topics, ranging from mental well-being and self-discovery to the sharing of internal knowledge within organizations. Their work has also embraced themes of self-love, healthy food consumption, and sustainable nutrition solutions for the planet. Moreover, they have speculated on the future of service design, delving into workshop facilitation, critical reflections, and retrospective analyses of its application in corporate environments – always wearing the lenses of service innovators and researchers. Each project is a testament to the boundless potential of service design in shaping a better tomorrow.
This journey has been a shared experience, and an inner voyage of personal growth, where students had the opportunity to develop service design expertise, soft skills, and learn about new (design) cultures while developing networks of people
As the XI Edition comes to a close, a new chapter begins, always exploring new opportunities and directions. The Master Board extends heartfelt congratulations to all graduates for their commitment and passion. We are proud to have nurtured yet another generation of service design practitioners and innovators, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing the impact they will create in the years to come. Finally, we would like to thank each student for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to share together such a significant moment in your career choices.
